The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) arranges practical training placements for students in eligible subject areas. The exchanges take place in countries with a National IAESTE Committee, which includes Hong Kong China, Macao, and West Bank.
IAESTE covers the following fields in engineering:

- Chemical engineering

- Electrical engineering
- Food engineering
- Environmental engineering
- Industrial engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Metallurgy
- Mining
- Process engineering
IAESTE covers the following fields in the natural sciences:

IAESTE also covers the following areas:

Member countries make efforts to increase the number of training opportunities available in newer study fields.
Organisations from countries where IAESTE is not represented so far are welcome to discuss setting up an IAESTE committee so that their country can join the program.

All IAESTE trainees generally receive a cost of living allowance that will at least cover food, accommodation, and travel to and from work. The exact amount is determined by the cost of living in the country and the employer. The trainee will have to pay for his or her own travel costs to the receiving country and for personal insurance for the duration of the traineeship. Most sending countries require trainees to pay a placement fee. This is determined by the individual national committees. Крайний срок подачи заявки:
Varies. Students who are interested in an IAESTE placement abroad must apply through the IAESTE in their home country. Because the IAESTE is a confederation of National Committees who have a bilateral exchange of offers it is only a national commitee that can provide a job placement.

Participation in the IAESTE exchange is open to bona fide students attending courses at universities, institutes of technology, and similar institutions of higher education in the study fields IAESTE covers.
The IAESTE program is not open to those who are about to start their university or college studies, nor is it available to those who have left university. Exceptions can be made for fresh graduates doing their practical training immediately after final examinations. Postdoctorate trainees will not normally be accepted.Гражданство кандидатов:
