Solonko In multimodality treatment of active extrapulmonary tuberculosis some options of low-intensity laser therapy are applied with regard to the site of tuberculous lesion: for affection of bones and joints — laser reflexotherapy, tissues of eyes — external radiation of the cornea, the urinary system — intravascular laser irradiation of blood in combination with external irradiation of the projection of the affected kidney, female genitals — external irradiation of the iliac areas. Administration of quantum therapy has enabled to achieve an improvement of anatomic and functional out-comes for patients with extrapulmonary tuberculosis. |
