ON THE ELABORATION OF THE PROGRAMME FOR MEDICOSOCIAL REHABILITATION OF DISABLED CHILDREN AND THOSE WITH PECULIAR FEATURES OF PSYCHOPHYSIСAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE SCHOOL AGE K.E. Zborovsky, L.P. Vasilyeva, E.V. Shulga, T.N. Buzenkova A comprehensive programme was worked out for medico-occupational rehabilitation of disabled children and those with peculiar features of psychophysical development in the school age, based on close collaboration of institutions of Health Ministry (prevention-and-treatment institutions, centres of medical rehabilitation), Ministry of Education (rehabilitation bases of specialized schools, centres of correcting and developing education), Ministry of Social Protection (rehabilitation bases of boarding schools), Ministry of Labour (centres of professional orientation). The directions of priority were defined in curative and rehabilitative work with disabled children (of junior, middle and senior school age), and the role of institutions of different departmental subordination in this process was pointed out. The parts of the programme were tested on the base and in co-operation of RIMSEER, prevention-and-treatment institutions, and special auxiliary schools and proved to be efficient. The necessity was emphasized of continuation of comprehensive rehabilitation of young invalids at the stage of receiving secondary vocational training. |
